Have you had such terrible service from someone or someplace that you wanted to scream ? Complaining to management gets you a shrug of their shoulders and a general "we'll take care of that problem" ! Had all you can stands and you can't stands no more. Blow off steam here and let everyone know how you feel.(maybe the upper management will see it) We will try to find out the 1-800 # or address to send you so you can get your message across.

Let's not forget about those wonderful people that go out of their way to make our day "just a little bit" better. The waiter that pays a little "extra" attention to your needs. The mechanic that "really" wants to help. "That woman" that held the door for you when your arms were full. You know the ones I mean. The ones that put a smile on your face or a tear in your eye "just because".

Dear sir(s), I have attended two concerts performed by the group KISS in the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion (Located near Houston Texas). At the first one, Ted Nugent opened for KISS. During his show, Ted Nugent made comments about how people who do not speak English should leave the country. This comment or these comments received a great deal of press coverage. LULAC made a lot of noise about the comment and the press responded.

In addition to the reaction from LULAC, the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion stated that they would not allow such comments again. True to their threat, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion asked Mr. Nugent to sign an agreement limiting what he would or could say on stage. This is nothing short of censorship. It is, in fact, a textbook example of censorship. I have never known a member of the press to fail to understand, and insist upon the recognition of, Freedom of the Press. Do these same members of the press not understand how closely linked Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press are? You can not have Freedom of the Press WITHOUT Freedom of Speech.

I think that it is important that you, your colleagues, competitors, friends, and enemies, all let it be known that Freedom of Speech is an absolute, and is not to be trampled upon. Just bear in mind, if Freedom of Speech can be killed, how far behind can Freedom of the Press be?

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion has fired a shot across the bow of the ship of freedom and we must fire back, with every political, editorial, ethical, or monetary weapon we have.

I am proposing a boycott of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, until such time as they agree NOT to restrict Freedom of Speech.

I would appreciate you covering the attack that has been made upon Freedom of Speech wit hat LEAST the same veracity with with you covered the attack upon Mr. Nugent.

Thank you for your time,

Jon M. Ferns ferns.org

Just a word to the wise: Chiropractic is a money pit. Not only are Chiropractors looked at as secondary obligations by the insurance companies that pay them. The legal leg a Chiropractor has to stand on when not paid is neglible. Granted Chiropractors do get a first rate education if they are not in a fraternity and do not have the formly enrolled students who now teach and give them old test. The school is not sanctioned by a state agency (this should raise serious questions), which means it is a private institution, which means inflated tuition and a grievance policy that is (you guess it) neglible, and lets go ahead and mention the good 'ole Southern Boy politics that go on, the corrupt financial aid office, and the black balling of students who dare stand up for their rights. The point here is DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME on a secondary profession, it costs you more money than MEDICAL SCHOOL, and when you do get your "DOCTORATE" degree what you can do legally for your patience is (you guess it again) NEGLIBLE. So if you want decent income, Lower student loan, and be able to make a difference go to Osteopathic School, or Med School. BE ALL YOU CAN BE AND STAY AWAY FROM THE QUAKOPRACTOR. I know I LIVED IT. As a Doctor of Chiropractic I earned 28K my first year. I have 112K in student loans. See an unequal balance. Now I am a Stock Broker, I would have had to work as a doctor for 5 years to equal what I have made in a year. IT IS A LOSER PROFESSION. Next time you think about it go to a Chiropractors office and compare to your MD's. There is something wrong, like a personality glitch, inferiority complex, I can't quite define it but it is there. ITS A LOSER PROFESSION.

H E L L O ??? A little less blood? The Basketball Diaries, Natural Born Killer, Have you seen what cartoons are doing these days? Please. Yes the parents should be held accountable for what takes place in their homes. I'm sorry your kid is so screwed up (well, not your kid boss)that he or she feels the need to blow people away, and you might have had YOUR HEAD STUCK UP YOUR ASS, and didn't notice anything unusual, but I personally don't buy that. All persons of all ages are directly included and are a product of their environment. It is not 1960 70 or even 80 any longer. Times have changed and the influences which were once unacceptable are now becoming more and more accepted as a way of life. I am scared for the adolescents of today! I believe that there are WAY too many, (not all) kids who have been permanently warped by the things they see and hear in our society, which by the way, no one is big enough to say ENOUGH, probably because they can handle it without losing their sense of reality. Those who can look at these images and adapt are those who were raised with some kind of moral conscience and more than likely have or had a strong level of guidance in their lives. Question Boss? When you were growing up with your father (the cop) and you saw all the weapons he had in your home, did he ever, also say "this gun is loaded, I leave it here, you cannot shoot it without me, it's here because..., and one more thing if you touch it without cause I'll whip your little ass?" No I dont want to submit myself to the scrutiny of government in my life, but clearly something needs to change the decline of morality and standards in our childrens lives. It all starts at home. Regarding your latest editorial, I just wanted to thank you for being a voice of common sense in the midst of the Columbine coverage. Now isn't the time to go to extremes, but politicians use tragedies like these to further their own agenda. Rather than point fingers, everyone should take a step back, exhale, and think about this. The main thought running through my mind is, "How did society evolve into what it is today?" If people want to point fingers, they should be pointing at a mirror first. We should be teaching respect for others, not because they are some type of hyphenated-American, but because he or she is a fellow human being. Those people who say that our "diversity is our greatest strength" are 180° wrong. Our unity makes us strong. We're all people. I'm rambling, so I'll close. Thanks again. I purchased an ATT model 922 telephone and had troubles right out of the box. Att customer service convinced me that it was in my wireing. After paying for house to be rewired, which helped nothing at all, Att now tells me it is NORMAL to hear ringing in background when i talk and will do nothing about it. If this is NORMAL why dont all phones do it. This is a defective product and they know it but refuse to help their customers. From, MAD IN TEXAS
